The Kowloon Bowling Green Club was founded in 1900 by Messrs. Wm. Ramsay, A. Ritchie, A. Ewing, J. Kyles, E. C. Wilkes,H. Schoolred, J. Allen, W. C. Jack and J. McDonald, who wished to establish a club for playing lawn bowls.
